Deciphering the organization and function of brain circuits is one of the most challenging problem of our time. It requires a combination of technological approaches such as genetic targeting of neuronal populations, recordings of neuronal activity using electrophysiology or imaging, and complex interventional strategies to link circuit anatomy and function.
At NeuroConsult, we leverage 10 years of circuit neuroscience experience to help you navigate the complexities of neuroscience research by providing support in the design and execution of project at both conceptual and technical levels.
A graduate from Université Paris Cité and Sorbonne Université, I trained in Molecular & Cellular Biology, Genetics, and Neuroscience.
I worked in world-class research institutions such as The Paris Brain Institute, The Zuckerman Insitute at Columbia University and more recently at The Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research in Basel, Switzerland.
Passionate about life sciences and the organization of the nervous system in particular, my work has focused on implementing novel approaches in neurophysiology to map the anatomical organization, probe the function of circuits in the brain and spinal cord, and link these features to behavior.
My main technical expertise revolves around electrophysiology (in vitro, in vivo), in vivo calcium imaging, optogenetic interrogation of circuit function (in vitro, in vivo), in models such as zebrafish and mice.
